You get a letter in the mail from some audit firm you’ve never met. You’re being audited! What, why? Can you say no? What happens if you fail somehow? As the one being audited, questions can pile up in your mind before an auditor even steps in the door. Join fellow OSCPA member and former auditor, Raychel Clark, CPA as she answers these questions and more. This workshop will not only give a brief refresher on what happens before, during, and after an audit, but also discuss your business’ rights and responsibilities as an auditee. The goal of this workshop is to give you more confidence and speed in completing any audits you undergo with the least incursion on your daily workload.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand the general process of an audit, both before, during, and after the auditor’s time working directly with your business.
  • Review your business’ rights and responsibilities as an auditee.
