OSCPA Summits in full swing

The OSCPA recently hosted two of its Summits, focusing on topics affecting niche areas of the accounting profession.

OSCPA's Oil & Gas Summit

Last week, the OSCPA hosted its Oil & Gas Summit at The Meeting Room in Oklahoma City. Almost 50 attendees joined in person and online to learn more about topics integral to the oil and gas industry.

Local leaders with combined decades of career experience were able to share their knowledge. Speakers included OSCPA Members Jacob Pasby, CPA, and Brent Watson, CPA, along with Peter Christnacht, Kellen Cowan, Mia Downing, Mike Hayes, Paul Perry and Ryan Woolrey.

OSCPA's Small Firms Management Summit

On Wednesday, the OSCPA hosted its Small Firms Management Summit at the Meeting Room in Oklahoma City. About 25 attendees joined in person and online to focus on hot topics for small firm managers and sole practitioners as they navigate the fast-changing profession.

Speakers included OSCPA Member James Denton, CPA, CGMA, as well as Bradley Burnett, Kellen Cowan, Erin Hicks and Erin Rhoads.
