Members on the Move: Making partner

Earlier this month, HoganTaylor LLP announced five new partners, four of which are OSCPA members!

Merri Barden, CPA, CGMA, and Lindsey Callery, CPA, were promoted to tax partners, Kevin Hearn, CPA, was promoted to assurance partner and David Stiles, CPA, was promoted to risk assurance partner.

Barden earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Oklahoma and a master's degree in business administration from the University of Central Oklahoma. She has more than 10 years of experience in taxation, including tax compliance reporting, planning and consulting.

Callery earned her bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Arkansas and a master's degree in taxation from Oklahoma State University. She has more than 15 years in the area of taxation, including C Corporation and state experience. She has been with HoganTaylor LLP since 2006.

Hearn earned his bachelor's degree in accounting from Oklahoma State University. He has more than 17 years of experience and currently leads HoganTaylor's Risk Assurance niche providing risk assessment, internal control and information technology compliance and advisory services.

Stiles earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in business administration from Oral Roberts University. He has more than 11 years of experience providing assurance services to various publicly and privately held clients, with a particular affinity for universities, private foundations and other nonprofit organizations.
