Department Manager of Accounting | Capital Credits

What You’ll Do… As Department Manager, you’ll:

• Lead and support a team of accounting professionals.
• Oversee all Accounting and Capital Credit operations.
• Develop and implement accounting systems and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards and internal policies.
• Collaborate with leadership on budgeting, planning, and strategic initiatives.
• Provide training, mentorship, and performance feedback to your team.
• Coordinate year-end audits and manage banking relationships.
• Promote a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement.

Who You’ll Lead…

You’ll manage a diverse team including:

• Accountants (I, II, Plant I & II)
• Accounting Administrators and Representatives (AP, AR, GL, Inventory, Purchasing, Regulatory, Lifeline/ACP, Capital Credits)

What We’re Looking For… Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

• Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office tools.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Physical Requirements…

• Sitting or standing for extended periods, walking, finger dexterity, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, hearing and visual acuity including close vision.
• Occasionally may be required to lift up to 20lbs.
• May be required occasionally to stoop, kneel or bend.
