King Banaian, Unidentified Educational Institution

King Banaian

King Banaian, Ph.D. is the interim dean of the College of Education and Learning Design and a professor in the Department of Economics at St. Cloud State University. He has consulted at central banks and ministries of finance in several developing countries. Dr. Banaian has authored two books and over 50 articles discussing monetary policy and political economy. He is co-author of the St. Cloud Quarterly Business Report, president of the St. Cloud Economic Development Authority and a commissioner of the St. Cloud Regional Airport. Dr. Banaian holds a Ph.D. in economics from the Claremont Graduate School and he is a former state representative for St. Cloud.

Andrew Frew, ASA, ABV, has more than 23 years of experience valuing privately held businesses for estate and gift tax, financial reporting, buy/sell agreement and business succession and exit planning purposes. He has been an accredited senior appraiser (ASA) through the American Society of Appraisers since 2012 and held the accredited in business valuation (ABV) credential through the AICPA since 2018. Andrew has written articles for Mercer Capital’s Financial Reporting Flash, Mercer Capital’s Value Matters, BKD Thoughtware and SRR Journal.

Ronald Seigneur

Ron Seigneur, MBA, CPA/ABV, ASA, CVA, is a founding partner of Seigneur Gustafson, LLP. He specializes in financial forensics, business and intellectual property valuation, practice management consulting and exit and succession planning services. Ron is an adjunct professor at the University of Denver Daniels College of Business where he teaches business appraisal classes. He is vice chair of the Business Valuation Committee of the American Society of Appraisers and a fellow of the College of Law Practice Management. Ron is a frequent speaker and author on professional practice issues including leadership, expert witness skills, cannabis industry matters, strategic planning, compensation and related topics. He is co-author of several books including “Financial Valuations: Applications and Models,” “Reasonable Compensation: Applications and Analysis for Management, Valuation and Tax,” and “The Cannabis Industry Accounting and Appraisal Guide.”

Jeff Wright is the owner and principal of Corporate Finance Associates (CFA), Minneapolis. He brings more than 40 years of entrepreneurial management experience to his work advising company owners as an investment banker. Jeff joined CFA in 2011 and works with owners of private companies with annual revenue of $10 million to $150 million, to execute high value exits through a tightly managed, competitive process. He has managed dozens of transactions from due diligence to successful closing, with sophisticated company buyers. He understands the complexity and changing landscape of the due diligence process.
