Wanda Royse, CalCPA Education Foundation

Wanda Royse founded WR Communication Consultants (WRCC) in 1984 because of her strong belief that success in the business world depends on communication excellence. It’s even more important in this technology driven world. Her blend of business experience, media and theater arts uniquely qualifies her as a communications expert. Formerly, an afternoon talk show host and weather reporter, she decided to transition those skills into the corporate world. At Atari, Wanda was responsible for media relations and multi-media presentations on technology research and development. She often speaks at professional meetings and conferences regarding communication skills and executive presence. Her expertise is one reason why Silicon Valley and Bay Area clients select Wanda as a key partner in meeting their development needs. Her client’s include Fortune 100 Companies and emerging businesses in the professional services industry, high tech, biotech, human resources, non-profit, health and wellness. She won the Ascend 2009 President’s Award for teaching LEAD seminars on communication for Ascend – a Pan-Asian Organization, was the President for Hillsborough Parent’s Group Schools including publicity chairperson for the Hillsborough Concours d’Elegance and served on the Planned Giving Council, for the Lucile Packard Foundation for Children. Wanda graduated Phi Kappa Phi from San Jose State University, where she received a B.A. in Broadcast Communication and Theatre Arts. She received a California Merit Scholarship to the University of Southern California, where she studied theatre arts for two years. Wanda has directed, choreographed and performed in many local theatre productions, continuing to hone her communication skills.
