Congrats, Tyler!
Tyler Whiteside, CPA, (an OSCPA member for ten years)has been named among this year's Achievers Under 40 by The Journal Record. Whiteside has been with FORVIS since 2019 and is an audit director.

OSCPA Governmental Accounting and Auditing Conference
Earlier this month more than 300 members attended our first big conference of the year - OSCPA's Governmental Accounting and Auditing Conference! It was a jam-packed event where attendees soaked up wisdom from both local legends (like State Auditor Cindy Byrd, CPA,) as well as several national experts.

The OSCPA's Governmental Accounting and Auditing Conference is the largest governmental accounting event in the state. This year, attendees earned up to 16 hours of recommended CPE and CLE credit while gaining knowledge and insights from exceptional leaders.

OSCPA CPA Advocacy Day
OSCPA members gathered at the Oklahoma State Capitol for a special rendezvous with state legislators! Not only did they seize the opportunity to glean wisdom from these influential figures, but they also came together to celebrate one of their own, Senator Tom Dugger, CPA, a remarkable CPA whose unwavering dedication has elevated the profession through the halls of the State Senate. It was a momentous occasion, blending recognition and inspiration in the heart of legislative action!

OSCPA After Tax Bash
The OSCPA celebrated the end of tax season with a swingin' celebration at Top Golf in OKC! Our members teed off for a fun-filled afternoon of friendly competition and a few rounds of golf. It was the perfect way to unwind and connect with fellow members after a busy season crunching numbers.

OSCPA Lunch + Learn: Identifying and Living Into Your Values
More than 100 OSCPA members gathered for an inspiring Lunch + Learn session this month, featuring the dynamic Raegan Mach, a Dare-To-Lead-trained leader. Together, they delved into the exciting realm of personal discovery, uncovering their core values and exploring ways to fully embrace them. It was a transformative journey of self-awareness and growth, all wrapped up in a delicious lunchtime package!

OSCPA Lunch + Learns are offered in-person and virtually every month and are free for members as part of your 20 Hours of Free CPE. Lunch is provided for in-person attendees, and those who attend can receive one hour of recommended CPE credit.
