Oklahoma CPAs to Watch in 2026: OSCPA Announces Trailblazers and Pathfinders

The OSCPA has announced the recipients of the 2026 Trailblazer and Pathfinder awards, honoring outstanding professionals who have demonstrated substantial leadership, innovation, and community involvement in accounting in Oklahoma.
The Trailblazers Award honors individuals who have made a significant impact on the profession and are highly involved in their local communities, while the Pathfinders award celebrates those who have proven their dedication to leadership and mentorship in guiding others toward success.
2026 Trailblazers include:
- Shane Fairchild, CPA – chief financial officer at Price Edwards & Company
- Ethan Garrett, CPA – IT reporting supervisor at Diamondback Energy
- Marisa Gibbs, CPA – tax senior manager at HoganTaylor LLP
- Harley Pennington, CPA – tax manager at Hamilton, Stone & Brown
- Ashley Plyushko, CPA – executive director of the Oklahoma Accountancy Board
2026 Pathfinders are:
- Josh Elder, CPA – assurance senior manager at HoganTaylor LLP
- Jimmy Williams, CPA – CEO and president of Compass Capital Management
