Celebrating Our 2025 Trailblazers: Jenny Cripps, CPA

October 14, 2025

Meet Jenny Cripps, CPA

Jenny Cripps, CPA, CGMA, is a dynamic finance leader with global experience. An Oklahoma native and Oklahoma State University graduate, she began her career in internal audit, traveling to 25 countries in just four years. Her expertise propelled her into senior finance roles in the energy industry, including positions in Norway and London, before she returned home to Oklahoma. Now the CFO of Gemini Industries, Jenny is passionate about process improvement, mentoring, and community service.

An active member of OSCPA and the OSCPA’s Oklahoma City Chapter board, she also holds a leadership role in the Junior League, continuing her dedication to making a meaningful impact.

What She Has to Say

OSCPA: What has been your greatest achievement in your community or professional career so far?

Cripps: I have wanted to be an accountant and see the world since I was young. I started in internal audit, learning about accounting and company processes. I then joined a company in the energy industry, which gave me the opportunity for further international travel, leading to opportunities to integrate acquisitions, contribute to strategy, and run finance departments abroad. My international exposure shaped who I am today!

OSCPA: Who has been your greatest inspiration in your life, and why?

Cripps: My uncle Steve kick-started my interest in international travel and becoming an expat. He graduated from Oklahoma State University with a degree in accounting and became an expat in Thailand when I was in middle school. From then on, I had accounting on my brain as a way to see the world. Now he lives in Singapore, and I've been fortunate to be able to stop through on business travel several times.

OSCPA: What motivated you to get involved with the OSCPA?

Cripps: I immediately joined the OSCPA upon moving to Oklahoma City in 2022. I was previously involved with the New York Society of CPAs when living in New York City and got a lot out of my involvement there. I was also working remotely for a company on the east coast and wanted to build my network in Oklahoma City. I enjoy being on the OSCPA’s Members in Industry Committee and on the Board of the OSCPA Oklahoma City Chapter, as well as attending OSCPA CPE and Mix & Mingle events.

OSCPA: What do you hope to accomplish in your career?

Cripps: I want to make a difference through mentoring, process improvement, and community involvement. At work, I enjoy identifying and implementing improvements while developing teams so they can grow in their careers and mentor others. As an employee-owned company with open book management, Gemini fosters financial knowledge at all levels, which I find especially rewarding.

I also mentor OSU students through the Spears Business Mentoring Program and serve on the OSU School of Accounting Advisory Board, where I enjoy sharing my career journey, showing students it's okay to explore different paths. In the community, I am an active member of the Junior League, having transferred my membership across multiple cities before joining the Junior League of Oklahoma City. I’ve served on various committees and am excited to step into the role of Community Vice President for the 2025-2026 term, continuing my commitment to making an impact.
