OSCPA's Annual Award Ceremony Recap

The OSCPA's 2023 Inaugural Awards Ceremony was a resounding success, bringing together professionals, luminaries, and industry leaders from across the state. The event, held at the Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center in Oklahoma City, showcased the best and brightest in the field, recognizing their exceptional contributions, innovation, and dedication to the profession.

The ceremony opened with a warm welcome from OSCPA Board of Directors Chair Vicky Petete, CPA, CGMA, who emphasized the organization's commitment to honoring excellence and promoting growth within the accounting community. One of the afternoon's most anticipated moments was the announcement and presentation of the OSCPA's 2023 Accounting Hall of Fame inductee. This coveted recognition was bestowed upon Eric Johnson, CPA, whose remarkable leadership, expertise and impact on the industry were acknowledged by peers and colleagues alike. In his acceptance speech, Johnson expressed gratitude for the support received throughout his journey and underscored the importance of collaboration in driving positive change.
