Recapping the OSCPA's Beach Conference

Last week, the OSCPA joined forces with the Alabama, Arkansas, Florida and Louisiana state CPA societies for the 2023 Beach Conference, connecting 240 CPAs for the event. 

The conference was hosted at the Lodge at Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores, Ala. Attendees spent each morning enjoying CPE sessions and networking while the afternoons were spent enjoying the beach and other activities.

This event also included a kick-off reception, which provided the added opportunity to make valuable connections, relax, and (most importantly) have fun.

More than 20 OSCPA members represented the Sooner State at this destination CPE event.

Over the course of this four-day event, various accounting and professional update courses gave attendees the opportunity to gain up to 20 hours worth of recommended CPE credit. 

Sessions included: Accounting and Auditing Update; Mind the Gap - Leading 5 Generations; Professional Issues Update; Tax Update; Technology Update for Accountants; The Power of Effective Feedback; and Who Dunnit? A Game of Frauds.
