Francesca SpillmanSpillman is the recipient of the MS in Accounting SPIRIT Award. The SPIRIT Award is given to a student in OSU's Master's in Accounting program who embodies solidarity, pride, initiative, responsibility, integrity and togetherness.

"Because our cohort was small, I had the opportunity to get acquainted with my classmates and endeavored to be an encouragement to them, especially when we hit some rough spots during our semesters," Spillman said.

She will graduate from OSU with her master's degree in accounting this year, and she plans to sit for the CPA Exam from May to September 2022. She will also begin working for Love's Travel Stops as a staff accountant in October 2022.

"I am grateful that my peers chose me for this award, and the gift that I received for it will be a constant reminder of my time with them," she said.

"It is an honor to be recognized for this award, as it means my dedication and hard work in helping students and my professors have paid off," he said.

Riley will be graduating with a master's degree in accounting this year. After graduating, he plans to sit for the CPA Exam and join Grant Thornton LLP as a tax associate in October.
