A Hall of Fame Moment

OSCPA Member Jon Evans, CPA, will be inducted into the Wilton T. Anderson Hall of Fame this April.

Evans, the COO of Paycom in Oklahoma City, will be honored alongside four other Oklahoma State University (OSU) School of Accounting alumni and friends of the school on April 24 at the ConocoPhillips OSU Alumni Center.

“Each of these alumni have been exceptional in their accomplishments and have truly put together 'hall of fame' careers,'” said Dr. Audrey Gramling, head of the School of Accounting. 

After earning his bachelor’s degree in accounting from OSU in 1987, Evans gained more than 30 years of senior financial and operations management experience working in Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas. 

Evans joined Paycom in 2014 as the director of accounting and has served as the company's executive vice president of accounting and senior executive vice president of operations. 

Now as the COO, Evans has led the effort to transform and automate many of the processes to help scale the rapidly expanding company. His leadership has been integral in Paycom being named one of the country’s fastest-growing companies and a nationally ranked workplace.

Evans also serves on the Board of Trustees at the Oklahoma City National Memorial and Museum.

Criteria for the award include the nominee's time, talent and treasures given to the OSU School of Accounting, career accomplishments and leadership in their profession and community.
