In this presentation you will learn how the Regional Food Bank measures, communicates and markets their impact which is critical to secure private and public support to end hunger in Oklahoma. Participants will engage in an interactive hunger simulation activity to better understand hunger in the state and the unique role they play in addressing hunger.
Learning Objectives
- To gain an understanding of the prevalence of hunger in Oklahoma and how the Regional Food Bank measures impact.
- Participants will see how they can make a difference in a movement to end hunger.

Leader Bios
Cassie Gilman
Cassie leads a dedicated team of marketing and communication, advocacy and public policy and fundraising professionals. She brings more than 20 years of experience to her role as the Chief Advancement Officer at the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma. A graduate of the University of Oklahoma, Cassie held several key positions with the university’s advancement team for the College of Arts and Sciences, including as its executive director. For four years, she served as special assistant in Oklahoma’s Office of the Secretary of Energy. Cassie is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma Class 29 and a member of the AFP Oklahoma Chapter.
