OTC names executive director

Monday, Jan. 3, 2022, Doug Linehan, CPA, began his position as executive director of the Oklahoma Tax Commission (OTC). Linehan's appointment follows former Executive Director Jay Doyle's transition to office of management and enterprise services last year.

“Our agency is excited to welcome Doug Linehan as the new executive director of the Oklahoma Tax Commission,” said Commissioner Shelly Paulk, chairman of the OTC. “His extensive leadership experience and expertise in tax operations make him exceptionally qualified for the role. We believe he has a bright future at the OTC, and we look forward to continuing to progress our agency for the taxpayers of Oklahoma.”

Linehan joins the OTC with 30 years of global finance and accounting experience. He served as the chief accounting officer for Paycom Software before being promoted to director of tax operations. Previously, Linehan was the chief accounting officer at MolyCop and senior vice president of finance at ConAgra Foods.

Linehan received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Oklahoma State University.

The executive director of the OTC is responsible for continuing the mission of serving the people of Oklahoma by promoting tax compliance through customer service and administration.
